MONICA RAZDAN

Biography:

Monica has over 4 years of experience working for major IT consulting firms like Accenture and IBM. She has worked on various projects for large American and European banks like Bank of America and Barclays as a CRM consultant. Her area of expertise includes Java-based CRM tools like Chordiant, as well as Java/Java EE-based frameworks like Struts and Hibernate.

Most recently, Monica worked as a UNIX Trading Aplication Specialist in a high frequency trading environment at Optiver Holding BV. Her role ranged from deploying and integrating new software releases to monitoring and maintaining the performance of trading applications at various data centers.

Monica has a special interest in Java and in her free time loves to try some new hacks in Java or build a utility. She also loves Sketching and Painting and spends her traveling time to and from the office trying some new sketches. She has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Computer Applications.

Current projects:

At Almende, Monica is working as a developer. She works on NoSQL databases, in particular CouchDB. She researches the relevance and applicability of CouchDB for various projects at Almende and the daughter concerns. Furthermore, she works on creating a web interface for other projects like FIT4Green and IVO.
